In a shocking turn of events, an Administration Officer assigned to the Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit (CIPU) turned a gun on his girlfriend before ultimately taking his own life. The motive behind this tragic incident remains unknown, leaving the community stunned and searching for answers.

According to junior police officers stationed at Sosiot police station, the officer, whose identity has been withheld, was on duty guarding the Belgut sub county headquarters.

Eyewitnesses reported that he abruptly left his post and ventured to a tailor shop located just opposite the sub county headquarters. There, he allegedly confronted his girlfriend, who worked as a tailor, in what appeared to be a heated argument.

Without warning, the officer reportedly drew his firearm and fired at his girlfriend, inflicting fatal injuries. Panic and chaos ensued as witnesses fled the scene and contacted authorities for assistance. Sadly, before the police could arrive, the officer fled to his residence, where he met a tragic end.
