First, Breathing Difficulties.

Mould and mildew can form on improperly laid or damaged tiles, particularly in moist environments such as bathrooms and basements. Mould particles in the air can exacerbate respiratory conditions such as allergies and asthma. Persistent exposure to mould can exacerbate preexisting respiratory issues and possibly cause new ones.

Second, Falls and Trips.

Especially in moist environments such as restrooms, kitchens, and pool decks, wet tiles pose a significant hazard for slips and falls. Falls can result in injuries ranging from moderate bruising to life-threatening fractures or brain trauma, particularly for the elderly and the young.
